Vernal Equinox, by Haiwei Hou, will be playing at the Toronto Animated Arts Festival International this July.
The Toronto Animated Arts Festival International will take place next week at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. This is Toronto’s first animation-centric festival and we’re ecstatic to have a new partner in town! Our very own Vernal Equinox by Haiwei Hou will be playing at this event. Vernal Equinox won the first Achievement in Animation Award at the Toronto Youth Shorts Film Festival this year.
In other film news, Bang by Alex Kingsmill will be playing at the 3rd round of the Shorts That Are Not Pants series on Friday July 13 at the NFB Cinema. You may have heard that the NFB will be closing its doors in a few months so why not take this opportunity to check out some films in the space before it’s gone?
